There are three types of scholarship in India. Namely: SAARC University, Government of India funding and private scholarship. Let's say at the beginning of SAARC and South Asian University. This is not actually a university in India. It is established and managed by the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Organization (SAARC) funding. The university was established in the Indian capital of New Delhi. Since 2010 the university has been admitted to the university. All SAARC countries are financing for the university. As such, there are specific quotas for each country's students here. SAARC University has 10 percent quota for Bangladeshi students. Bangladeshi students can apply for PhD on Computer Science, International Relations, Sociology, Mathematics, Development Economics, Jurisprudence and Biotechnology and a two-year master's degree. New academic year begins in July every year. Every year, 30 students are admitted to the Master's degree every year. The application process for admission and scholarship starts from December-January. Three types of scholarships are given on the merit of admission students. Anyone can easily find out the details of this on the website of the university.
ICCR: Usually central and state-run universities of India do not give scholarships directly to foreigners. Indian Council for Cultural Studies (ICCR) under the Government of India gave scholarships to students of different countries for study in universities. The Indian High Commission in Dhaka has selected Bangladeshi students every year. Every year, 200 Bangladeshi students are given education under various programs including ICCR. There are applications for postdoctoral, phd, masters and undergraduate degrees. Students of different engineering universities also get education in this quota.
